The Personal Advantage: A Practical Path to Stronger Leadership in 2026

How many times have you invested your time, your energy, or your organization’s dollars into a workshop, a seminar, or even a coaching engagement… only to realize six months later, “Well, that was nice… but nothing really changed”?

Last week I introduced a program I’ve developed called The Personal Advantage. Today I want to share what it is, why I built it, and why now — before 2026 — is the right time to lean into this work.
So many of you are reviewing budgets, navigating new goals, absorbing restructuring, or preparing for shifts that are already underway. It can feel like trying to change seats on an airplane flying at 500 MPH at 40,000 feet. I’ve been there.
The Personal Advantage is a practical, methodical framework I’ve spent eight years refining — built on decades of operational leadership in healthcare and organizations that demand strong, aligned leadership. This isn’t a quick fix, it’s a step by step approach to dissect performance and create a way you can do this easily on your own in the future. I offer coaching, training, practice and provide tools once you’ve established new habits and process.
It has three modules:
1. Leadership Inventory
We start by looking at your goals, your structures and systems, and the behaviors — yours and your team’s — that will shape a balanced and successful 2026. You’ll get clear on what’s working, what isn’t, and what needs to change.
2. Leadership Alignment
This is where the transformation really happens. We look at how your goals, behaviors, and structures align — or don’t — with your partner at work, your team, your district, and your organization. Misalignment is one of the biggest causes of burnout and ineffective performance.
3. Leadership Acceleration
Finally, we develop the habits, the consistency, and the innovative thinking you need to lead with clarity. This is about innovating new ideas, building new habits and improving over time.
This program equips you with tools to evaluate — and elevate — your own leadership, your team’s dynamics, and the effectiveness of your entire work environment. Once you’ve gone through this, you have the tools to do it all on your own year over year.
