The Leadership Advantage: A Year-Long Journey for Emerging Leaders

Hi everyone, I’m Joan Beltran.

It’s been a few years since I first launched Guided Leadership Insights — and what a journey it’s been.

Over the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of working with leaders and teams across healthcare systems, medical practices, scientific academies, and even non-profits in the athletics world. I’ve coached, facilitated workshops, and created learning experiences — both virtually and in person — all centered on one mission: helping people lead with clarity, presence, and courage.

But lately… something’s shifted for me.

I’ve been wrestling with what’s happening in our country and in our lives — the tension, the division, the exhaustion so many people are feeling — and asking myself what kind of impact I want to make right now.  At no time in my lifetime have I seen a clear global desire for more humanity about us and between us.  There seems to be these dualities, polarities and opposing tensions in our families and work environments not to mention our country.

So that’s why I’m pivoting.

In 2026, I’m expanding Guided Leadership Insights to help emerging leaders — and their communities — manage and expand their resourcefulness in times of significant change. I want to work with people who are ready to move from reactivity to reflection, from polarization to possibility.

I’m not offering a educational or coaching program where you’re handed off to another individual. This program is personal, it’s practical, and it’s grounded from me in decades of operational leadership experience, and eight years building this program from scratch — because growth has to be both human and strategic.

Through The Leadership Advantage, my signature program, we’ll go through three phases — Inventory, Alignment, and Acceleration — to rediscover purpose, strengthen relationships, and create systems that sustain real, measurable results.

If this resonates with you — if you’re a leader, or you know someone who could benefit from a conversation about this — I’d love to connect, feel free to reach out here below.
